Higher usage limits for Claude and a compute deal with SpaceX
We’ve agreed to a partnership with SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity. This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.
TL;DR
- Claude's usage limits for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans have been increased, including doubling rate limits for Claude Code and removing peak hour reductions.
- API rate limits for Claude Opus models have been substantially raised.
- A new partnership with SpaceX will provide access to over 300 megawatts of compute capacity at their Colossus 1 data center within the month.
- Other major compute deals include agreements with Amazon, Google, Broadcom, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Fluidstack.
- Capacity expansion will include international infrastructure to meet compliance and data residency requirements for enterprise customers in regulated industries.
- Commitments are being made to invest back into communities hosting data center facilities.
