Big Tech joins forces with Linux Foundation to standardize AI agents

Block contributed goose, an open-source coding agent, and OpenAI contributed AGENTS.md, a markdown-based readme for guiding AI agent behavior.
The move towards standardization comes as companies race to integrate generative AI into products and processes.
The AAIF has support from major companies including Amazon, Google, Cloudflare, and Microsoft.
