Google wants to host your personal vibe-coded apps in the Play Store
Google plans to help turn those personal AI-generated apps into wide releases.
TL;DR
- Ask Play is expanding beyond app listings to offer general AI-powered app and game search with comparison charts.
- Gemini will introduce similar AI-driven search capabilities.
- Game Finder uses user data to create a 'Gamer DNA' profile for personalized game recommendations.
- Users can tune their Gamer DNA by rating games and adjusting tags for more accurate suggestions.
- Users can send AI-created apps from AI Studio directly to a private 'Personal Library' in the Play Store.
- These private apps can be shared with a small group without a developer account.
- An onboarding process will be available for users who wish to publish their AI-created apps publicly.
