The initiative emphasizes layered resilience through evaluations, capability assessments, safer model behavior, monitoring, red teaming, and security controls.
Collaborations include partnerships with U.S. Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI), UK AI Security Institute (UK AISI), Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the Frontier Model Forum.
Rosalind Biodefense will support work in areas such as epidemiological modeling, early detection, screening, preparedness, and non-pharmaceutical interventions.
Initial supported organizations include Fourth Eon Biosecurity, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).
