TL;DR
- Free Gemini users will only have access to the Flash Lite model starting October 9th.
- Access to the standard Gemini Flash model will require a $4.99/month Google AI Plus subscription.
- The Google AI Plus subscription will no longer include Gemini Pro.
- Gemini Pro and Deep Think advanced reasoning will be exclusive to Google AI Pro ($19.99/month) and Ultra ($99.99/month) subscriptions.
- Users can still select low, medium, and high effort levels, but higher levels may consume usage limits faster.
